Oxbow provides screening facilities for coal, petroleum coke and steel raw materials. Oxbow is the majority owner and operator of the Terror Creek Coal Company (TCC) in Paonia, Colorado. Terror Creek is one of the largest coal screening
operations in the western United States.
Oxbow also has the ability to screen green petroleum coke, and screens more than one million tons at our facility in Long Beach, CA and at ICRT in Convent, LA. The company screens and bags calcined coke at the Lazaro Cardenas, Mexico, Suez, Egypt and Ghent facilities.
Besides coal and petroleum coke, Oxbow also bags and screens custom blended materials used in removing sulfur from steel and slag that is manufactured by North American steel producers. Oxbow’s facility in Aurora, IN, is strategically located to service the domestic metals market.
